I remember reading about the 1929 stock market crash, reports of people jumping out of buildings in despair over their financial losses. I couldn't imagine how it could be that bad for them - if only they had stuck it out with everyone else they'd have seen it wasn't the end of the world after all.

there is too much emphasis on money in ones life - especially in the US where everything is based on money - people just need to realize that it is just a stupid piece of green paper - ones health is much more valuable than ones wealth
