When the Bush administration said the Obamas could not stay at the Blair House -- the guest residence usually home to presidents-elect -- until Jan. 15 because it was booked, it did not say who would be there.

Grew up In Brooklyn. Joined the Navy in 1976 stayed in 10 years. Aircraft Electronics tech. Worked for Major Govt. contractor then settled in California ...

    I thought I've seen it all until now. The president-elect should be staying in the Blair house not some washed up Australian president. Howard should be in the hotel. What a load of crap.

    I don't understand the logic here......the visitor of one night has disrupted the Obama family from the transition process, this is a really thoughtless and discourteous action by the Bushs, but why should things change now .
