The very first DVD that I bought was the 1999 release of Ghostbusters, and now some two hundred or more discs later, I've moved up to Blu-ray discs as my default film/television purchasing format of choice from this point forward. I made the cost-effective decision not to rebuy all of my DVDs in Blu-ray format, but I also chose to make two exceptions to this rule. I will gladly hand over more money for the privilege of owning Ghostbusters yet again, so come June 16 let us celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of the film when the new Blu-ray edition of the movie and the highly anticipated video game finally reach stores. We know about the game (well, basically), but what special features can we expect for the movie?
