    It's true, he hasn't been convicted of anything yet. But the taped conversations are extremely damning, and even without a conviction, the charges and evidence that's been released do seem to stand in the way to his ability to function effectively as governor.

    I'm not certain whether suspending him from his duties as governor until he's been tried falls within Illinois law...it wouldn't surprise me if impeachment is the only option the Illinois legislature has. Removing him from office is different from locking him up for his crime...
