The AFA is up to their old tricks. These right-wing zealots insist on taking a stand against anyone remotely related to gays and lesbians. Lucky for me, I drink Diet Pepsi frequently. Let this be a product endorsement and a thank you to Pepsico for their support of human causes. After all, gays and lesbians are human too.

Endo, you funny guy, gays and lesbians are not boycotting anything. In fact, we are not promoting anything through this AFA boycott. What is happening here is that people who claim to be loving, caring Xians are really nothing more than seething, back-biting, hatemongers. Do you understand now?

You are pathetic. I'm sure you told black people in the 50's to grow up as well. And if you would just take a moment to step outside of your puritanical world, you might see that it is YOU and monsters like the AFA who are ramming your beliefs down the rest of our collective throats.

Believe me, no gay person would want to ram ANYTHING down your bile filled gob. -

That is so right. All they promote is traditional family values and being a Christian group they promote the Bible and its principles. Such a horrid thing to promote.
Reply
It says something about you if you do not think those are good things to promote. Honesty, love, hope, trust, etc. These things are not worth promoting in your eyes I take it.

Ya got to hand it to Endo, he has done more to promote thoughtful discussion on gay rights than most of the frequent posters. Endo's total lack of compassion for people who don't prescribe to his particular brand of Christianity is jaw dropping. His total lack of ethics along with his hateful diatribes has done more to shed light on what true evangelicals are like. By the way Endo, how many unwanted or abandoned children have you adopted?

There go the lies again. I have adopted 6 so now wipe the egg off of your face. My last two are two multiracial children. One is part black, Yugoslavian, and Cherokee. The other is black German, and Blackfeet

What you ignore is ANY true Christian (one who believes the creeds) is forced to say the homosexual act is an abomination. That does not mean we hate the people. But those people lay the homophobic label on us. In point of fact two live across the street from me and I get along with them just fine. They do not shove anything on me and I do not shove anything on them. It is the in your face ones that I stand squarely against. Those who demand rights that do not exist.

I don't like Pepsi, I'm a diet Dr. Pepper Addict.

Boycotts of these types form either side seem pointless gays have rights and so do pro lifers. Once both sides quite trying to push their agendas on everyone else things would be much better.-

Slate, gays are not one unified force within some sort of organization. I never got my ID card recognizing me as an official GAY. I never got my toaster oven for opening an account at the GAY credit union. I never once got my nomination to the lifetime Gay Man Awards ceremony in lovely San Francisco. There is no overarching "gay agenda." Why do people presume that there is?

"The $1,000,000 was to be used to help promote homosexuality in the workplace,” the AFA said."
Reply
What? The response letter from Pepsi to the AFA states: "The [$500,000] initiative seeks to promote further understanding and equality in the places where people spend much of their time at work." They're not putting up signs that say "Be gay now!"
Also, I don't see how they justify lumping in the money given to the Human Rights Campaign.-

Ah yes, those corporate posters that say:
"Have you screwed your same-sex coworker today? Take a break and do so now!"
"Got the homosexual hots for your boss? Book the conference room for some hanky panky!"
and my personal favorite:
"Just a reminder to everyone to have homosexual sex on their desks before they leave for the weekend. We'll be dimming the lights to set the mood at 3pm Friday." -

--Wingnuts know that if they didn't exaggerate, distort, and lie, there's virtually no way in hell this hateful, piece-of-crap legislation would have passed. Telling school kids in sex ed class that families exist other than those with a mother and a father is often spun as pushing the "gay agenda".

So besides boycotting all the places that ms. wolves mentioned you'll also boycott Wally's world and Sam's club, etc.
Reply
So just where will you get your food? Online and have it delivered? all of the online stores sell pepsi products too. At least with clothes you'll have more lee way.
How about gas for the car? where will you go? Tools you'll have to pay more as you'll be shopping at Sears.

guess the Pepsi boycotters should not stop there.. Disney was one of the first companies in the country to recognize domestic partners and put them on the benefits package... regardless of sexual orientation.....
Reply
Disney has their fingers in a lot of entertainment .. movies, tv.. etc.. so to be totally fair... you boycotters need to look at that also...
hell Disney even has a or used to have a Gay Day at the park in Orlando.....
and don't even think about going to Key West where the gay population is around 70% ... Fantasy Fest... a no no.. I was inadvertantly there during Gay Pride Weekend once.. even being straight.. I can't recall having so much fun.. what a party.... -

If you sign on to the Pepsi boycott, wouldn't you have to stop watching television, as Pepsi has ad buys on every network, except Public Broadcasting and the NASA channel? Even the Weather Channel airs the occasional Pepsi ad. Won't the Pepsi people be scared of the boycotters? Overnight tens of people will stop drinking Pepsi!

lol i no u guys are out of the forum, but if anybody comes back, i just want u guys to know that MJ's hair exploded on a pepsi commercial. pyrotechnics and hairspray and all that. i know some gay/lesbian/bisexual people, and you should NOT bash gay people. they are the kindest, most loving, least hateful people you could know. (but of course, you wouldn't (endo and other christians on this forum), seeing as you're discriminating BITCHES.) basically, they're the opposite of endoscopy.
