Your figures are extremely misleading. A good portion of what you have quoted are not outright grants or gifts. Israel puts out 50% of its GNP for military expenditures which include repayment of loans to the US government. I will be able to give you an exact total if you like from the GAO, but I doubt that it would make a difference since you wouldn't believe it anyway, but keep up your Googling. Don't forget to read all of the information and not just that which serves your purpose. BTW, now look up the aid that the US gives to Egypt and to the Palestinians who, like Yassir Arafat, embezzled the funds. The Palestinians receive more aid from the US and the European countries than any other single group. Most of it is never used for the people. Now that much of Gaza is in ruins, lets see how well Hamas does in rebuilding it. It certainly had a great deal to do with it's destruction.

The US is out of step with the United Nations and virtually the whole of the rest of the world. But its coming round and and the deliberate murder of children does nothing whatsoever to help the Israeli cause any more than do stories like this one from "Israeli girl" whose presence on propeller is solely as a paid shill.

"Out of step with the united nations"?

Well, at least we are doing that right then.

No surprise here. This is what I've come to expect from the US: unconditional support, no matter what.

US supports Israel's attack, Israel supports US attacks. 2 wrongs don't make a right!

Gama - Er, correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm fairly sure you used the word genocide, in refering to the casualties suffered by the Palestinians at Israeli hands ??? Maybe you'd care to check the definition of the word genocide...... Had you done so, previous to your posting, you'd not have used said word (inflamatory & eye-catching as it may be). Had Israel wished to commit genocide on the Palestinian people, there'd be precious few of them left, given the population density & Israel's armaments.....

The fact that (unlike Hamas) Israel takes great pains to selectively target it's strikes, is (of course) ignored by those who simply seek to denigrate & denounce said country.....

For those (on other similar threads) who have likened the Palestinian cause to that between the UK & the IRA, please check a few facts before exposing your complete ignorance on the subject. The IRA did NOT rain down 3-5000 rockets/missiles/mortar bombs on UK territory, but used planted (not suicidal, they'd more sense) bombs for the majority of their dirty deeds.

Do the Jews of Israel want to exterminate the Palestinians just to be mean? Do the Palestinians want to do the same to the Jews? Is Hamas capable of killing its own for a public relations victory? Are Hamas aims the same as those of the Palestinians? Whose side is the UN on? Are the Europeans being held hostage by violent intercity minorities? Who gains if Israel ceases to exist and what is gained? Who paid for the rockets that are stockpiled in, and are being fired from Gaza--Certainly not the Palestinians who live there, not monetarily anyway? What are the implications for the non-Islamic west when Israel falls and the pogrom begins?

As soon as Americans learn that it's not anti-Semitic to criticize Israel, we will be that much closer to peace in the region.
Our one-sided take on the problem has caused us more harm than good.

Which nation, which religion, which people is more viruous (or less vicerous) than Israel? The Germans? The Russians? Those nice Turks? I know-- the Finns. Wait, didn't they gang up with the Nazis for a while? The Japanese...Oh, Nanking. The Chinese then. Look what they've done for Tibet. The Swiss-- maybe if it wasn't for their record of helping criminals hide resources. The truth is that world politics is a rough game. People who rave about all the Palestinian casualties, as if that were the only issue, are simply showing which side they are on.
