I guess the "creationists" will not be very happy with this link.
They probably will block or censor this site....
Indeed very interesting reminder of what we learned during science classes at school.
I hope many (young) people will check this site. -

I understand your question, and the problem.

Yes, how did it all started???????? THE BIG question.
But, ..... is saying it's God, not just "moving" or "avoiding" the problem? Is the "God explanation" not just and "easy" solution?
Yes, there are big questions:
What was before the "big bang"?
Nothing?
What is "nothing"???
Space/universe is "infinite".
What's "infinite"???
And if space/universe had an "boundary " or "end", what's "behind" it?
Nothing?????
It's "easy" (by way of speaking) to explain all those "mysteries" by saying "well it's God". He made time and space (and matter).
OK, but then, who made God? "Well nobody, God has always existed and is timeless, eternal. He doesn't need to be created, as He was always there......"
Why can't we say the same about "time and space"???? Why does it needs to be "God", and so avoiding the problem......
As for "other civilizations out there", I'm sure there
have been,
will be,
and are ............
