Very funny, denden45! But people are judgmental animals, and they like to label "others" so they can be "in-group" and "right."

I noticed something else--every generation whines about what the world is coming to, as if it used to be a lot better. It never was. I had a young adult ask me if I lived in "happy days." I reminded him that's a TV show, and lynching, the cold war, and no rights for blacks or women didn't make those days very happy for a lot of people. He was amazed, as if it never occurred to him that pesky history would have been happening at the same time.

I think I've led a charmed life having access to central heat, air conditioning, insect repellant, and effective painkillers for surgery and television(!) my entire life. In fact, if people finally achieve a sustainable population, there are unimaginable possibilities for the future.
