NPR is a Leftist propaganda mill and I believe it, like ALL media, including PBS, should stand or fall depending on its ability to raise funds through advertising. NPR and PBS, subsidized by Uncle Sam, remind one of Airhead America, which cannot compete in the private market without being subsidized by George Soros.
I would love to hear the following Public Service Announcement during the required station break one day: "NPR, PBS, and Airhead America are brought to you by Bankrupts "R" Us Media Services, where 'Our Leftist Ideas Are As Empty As Our Bank Accounts'."-

To read the moron right wing brainwashed commentary, devoid of anything of substance other than slander and Drug Limpbaugh talking points, is like a neon sign why we should have a nonprofit news national level media outlet, not owned and operated by some coward right wing troll, like the kind that possum head fills the vacuous space between his ears with.

You get your news and perspective from a drug addicted fat coward closet log cabin gay man, 5 times divorced for not being able to consumate his marriage, because he's gayer than a pink leather pinata, sporting a receptive anal sex bleeding cyst, that he used to get out of vietnam, like the draft dodging GWB and coward draft dodging shotgun Dick.
Good for you, but to read how you hope nothing survives but propanda from the neocon mogals who own everything, is to realize just how stupid the right wing is and why they'll never win another election.-

Actually you're ripping on a profitable, non-governmental funded business. Unlike most of your liberal programs or "community organizers", a business requires profit in order to stay open. No profit, no business.

On your other comments from the asylum, the GOP or conservatives will rise again. Your side did after the Clinton fiasco. One thing I'll say now, we're not playing fair, we're going to use your play book. You will see us start at the grass roots. Family values got Reagan elected and it will bring us back too. You will have 2 maybe 4 years to run wild with pork. But unless we enter into a real war, on the scale of WW2, you have no idea how you're going to pay for the stimulus package you're forcing. When the bill comes due, we'll see how you spin this one.-

First I don't agree with any bail outs. GM and Chrysler will never be able to pay back the loans unless drastic steps are taken to unburden the companies from their unions. Dump the unions and I think they'd do well. The product is well designed and no offense, but any chimp can assemble the cars of today with very little skill or training. The unions whined about Toyota not building here years ago. Well they're here and doing a far better job. Oh, and no union. They need to file Chapter 11, clean up their books and move forward. Oh, and the big three will not go under. There is enough invested in their plants alone to prevent an American Motors crash.

This isn't only unions against management. You're forgetting the stockholders. They let things get this bad by failing to attend shareholder meetings. Signing proxies without reading them is a bad thing. The last part here is the government. It's nice to want clean air and water but there are certain limitation and the government needs to back off. 6 months ago you couldn't find a hybrid car available. Today, I passed a Honda dealership with 30 on the lot. Gas prices are down and no one wants the hassle. We need to bring and keep energy costs down. Drill here, drill now. Convert coal. Keep prices lower and everyone benefits.-

I have union and nonunion shops under my control. The union shops are far more costly and less productive. There's no fear of termination even if you you're caught stealing or carrying a gun in the plant. The union will cost me more than it's worth fighting. That's one of the reasons our union shops have been closing and our non-union growing.

You know, it is interesting, socialists, such as you are, regularly spew vile attacks, such as this one, demonizing anyone who disagrees with them. Perhaps they delude themselves into thinking that they are the reasonable human beings engaged in civil discourse. Perhaps it is more calculated than that.

Like other “progressives”, you seek to censor debate and control others in order to force them to act and think according to your beliefs. You insult others to enrage them so that you can them claim they are the ones who are unreasonable and therefore marginalize other views. You twist or distort information to suit your agenda or if failing success with that, you simply lie.
Albert Einstein once said that "The height of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result" yet socialism in a wide variety of forms ranging from Nazism to Communism has been tried all around the world and it has been a disaster over and over again. Yet today, modern American progressives have been worked into a blind emotional frenzy. Naively, “progressives” rail at the wind spewing hatred at conservatives, "the new Jews", and try to silence dissent just like the “brownshirts” or “bolsheviks” while seeking some fantasized utopia that will always elude them.
So what’s the next step in your glorious "progressive" revolution? Will you try to round up conservatives and send them off to re-education camps? Perhaps conservatives cling to their guns for a good reason. People like you are dangerous, stupid and destructive and increasingly, mainstream Americans sees who you really are.
