If 44% support Israel, then 56% oppose their horrific actions. I wouldn't call a minority of Americans backing Israel as 'firm' support.

  Hey, if responding to rockets being fired willy nilly into Israeli neighborhoods from territory, (Gaza) traded in the hopes of achieving peace is "horrific actions", well, hey, let's all hear it for "horrific actions"!       I suggest you look at the world where Muslims are killing all kinds of people and you say nothing about it. Why. Where is your outcry of the butchery going on in the Sudan. Where is your outcry over the 4000 people killed by Muslim terrorists in India. You refused to have an outcry over the missiles launched into Israel.
      
      But let anyone attack the Muslims back and they are horrid.

        What do "terrorists" attacks in other parts of the world have to do with Gaza? Are you accusing the extremists in Gaza of being the terrorists everywhere else? If so, then Bush sure SCREWED UP when he invaded Iraq looking for those "terrorists".
        
        Where is AMERICA'S outcry about the genocide in Sudan?
        
        Have you seen the Bush Administration do anything about that?

  But of course! By the very same logic supporters the so-called "pro-Palestinians" conclude that if in 1947 the Jews owned 9% of the land in Palestine then the Arabs owned the remaining 91%.

        This is what you and other so-called "pro-Palestinians" here say all the time. This is what appears to be the logic used by the Arabs and their supporters.
        
        By the way, unlike you I do not see anything "racist" with calling an Arab an Arab. Unlike you I do not think that Arabs (or anyone else) are somehow inherently inferior to Jews (or anyone else).

        i denounce racism against anyone. i also resent my criticisms of israel being branded as anti-semitism. that's irrational, illogical and exploited far too often and too easily by the likes of you. it's an easy smear when you don't like what i say to try and shut me up but it has no basis in reality
