Probably a good idea. A large number of ancient Buddhas have been stolen in recent years in India due to the poor security and lack of morals.

The same thing is happening throughout Tibet, as well, with Chinese 'officials' stealing Tibetan treasures (such as 15c Buddha statues) and selling them on the black market. -
