Here's the icing on the cake:

"Kuchinsky also accuses Curry of exposing himself and harassing the former driver and said Curry referred to his Jewish heritage in a derogatory way, calling him a "cracker,'' "white slave,'' "white devil'' and "grandmaster of the KKK.''"

So, let me see if I understand this correctly. If you call a member of a protected class (in this case a minority) something that is racist, regardless of whether or not it applies to that protected class, the person using that term can be sued for being racist.

Do I have that right? However, if Curry had called me (being a White male) a "cracker" and a "white devil" would I (not being a member of a protected class) have grounds on which to sue, due to the fact that I am a member of the group to which those terms are generally applied? Or would my law-suit be thrown out of court?

These are questions that we really need to start asking ourselves if we want to start working past the racial divide.
