Good post jsilver. The internet is one of the few truly democratic institutions we have left, and it should stay that way.

Why is Time/Warner not on the list? Last summer I ended up paying almost 5 bills for no-cable, and no-wireless service. When I told them to come pick up their gear, they sent me a bill for almost 8 bills. I begrudgingly packed their crap up and delivered it across town. Dallas. Talk about arrogance!
These monopolies hold whole states in contempt.

I signed not because it's a bailout but because it's a ransom for kidnapping capitalism and competition.

at doesn't need a bailout. They cram unsupecting customerS, with their products, and service that they don't want or need. Ethics were lost by Bellsouth, now at several years ago. You had better check you bill very carefully each month. It is the unsuspecting of crammed customers ,that are bailing them out. This is really criminal. SHAME ON THEM. ASK ANYONE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE, THEY CAN TELL YOU HOW BAD IT REALLY IS.

How about bailing me out? Everyone on here could send me a one time fee of say thirty dollars..for that fee i will tell you about the car i buy,the trip i'll take to Tahiti, and the good looking native girl that i plan on hooking up with when i get there..That my friends is a far better deal than you will ever get from these companys that the government is giving YOUR money to.At least in my personal bailout plan you will know how it is to live on your money..i promise i'll tell you !!
