That's why I find it so abhorrent that George W. Bush handed out millions to America's wealthiest ... just because a few of them had their hand out.
I think we need to wean the Wealthy off Welfare ... for their own moral salvation.

I appreciate your comments. I was thinking along that same line when I was reading this story. We have a country full of sinners and it starts at the top (by example). The tax-payers and consumers are the sacrificial goats paying the price for these sins.

I'm drawing a blank thinking of arguments for or against the idea, not a condition I'm used to
Is it a sin to go hungry? Is it a sin to get food handouts from a church?
Is the church perpetuating sinful behavior?

I agree begging is a sin!!!! Just look at what the financial banks did after Paulson begged, we can't find out where one cent of our tax money went. Now they want more!!! The auto industry is begging and I hear there is a lot more coming to Washington with their hands out begging for bail outs.
