  That's why I find it so abhorrent that George W. Bush handed out millions to America's wealthiest ... just because a few of them had their hand out.
  
  I think we need to wean the Wealthy off Welfare ... for their own moral salvation.

      BS...they got it to buy up other companies. THey got it so they could pay increased bonuses.
      
      We've lost over 2 million jobs....how exactly is Bush's giving of money to the wealthy creating jobs?

      I see that you are still living the fantasy of trickle down economics. I posted some links to articles reporting the 2.6 million jobs lost last year as an example of your fallacious statement of the how the wealthiest employ others and keep this economy strong (your words), but it mistook those links for spam.
      
      Anyway, CNN, FOX, The Denver Post, and the Bureau of Labor and Statistics all confirm 2.6 million jobs lost for 2008. I don't see how you can stick by your statement when these facts fly in the face of your beliefs. What are you going to say when this bailout of the wealthy doesn't create more jobs and more jobs are lost? What are going to say when jobs are created through government programs and not by corporations?
      
      You've backed yourself into a corner and don't even know it. So, you are the one that doesn't understand. Although, this is of no surprise as you and other right-wing supporters are in denial about how real world economics work. Let me give you a hint: it doesn't work the way we've been doing it the past 30 years. And, the last 8 years have accelerated these bad practices.

    I appreciate your comments. I was thinking along that same line when I was reading this story. We have a country full of sinners and it starts at the top (by example). The tax-payers and consumers are the sacrificial goats paying the price for these sins.

  I agree begging is a sin!!!! Just look at what the financial banks did after Paulson begged, we can't find out where one cent of our tax money went. Now they want more!!! The auto industry is begging and I hear there is a lot more coming to Washington with their hands out begging for bail outs.
