The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) has released its report on Digital Music 2009. According to the report (.PDF). It concludes that despite initiatives by the music industry, 95% of music downloads continue to be illegal.

    Too funny! This story was listed right over a submission with the title FREE DOWNLOAD in it that was referring to a song. Of course 95% of people are downloading music illegally (for free)... Some people are ALWAYS looking for something free and will pretty much do whatever it takes to get it. We have bigger problems to worry about in this country right now than illegal music downloads though;-)
