I knew that Joe Biden was prone to making gaffes. Looks like his wife is too!

Might make for some very interesting cabinet meetings
      I'm sure Hillary is delighted

It is aways hardest prove what was actually discussed when only 2 parties are involved (as is probably the case with any conversations Joe Biden may have had with Barack Obama over potential Cabinet position). And this will ONLY have shelf life if Hillary Clinton and Biden come to loggerheads over foreign policy (which is not likely to be the case...). And without that, this is ALREADY - and literally - yesterday's news....

Interesting; not completely surprising given Biden's experience. Of course, one can never tell what two people may or may not have discussed. But given the timing, it makes more sense that it was discussed, if at all, as a hypothetical situation.

I'm glad Biden picked VP and will pray for Obama's continued good health.

As long as Obama is President and Biden is only Veep, he shouldn't be able to do TOO much damage..

              FTA:
"After the exchange aired on television three hours later, Biden spokeswoman Elizabeth Alexander denied Jill Biden's account in a statement e-mailed to reporters."

If we are to believe in the new administration, perhaps this type of denial shouldn't happen. Granted, as previous posters say, no one but the two parties know absolutely what was said, but Mrs. Biden provided too many details of the discussion between she and her husband (and Biden himself didn't deny it on air, just shushed her)for me to disbelieve her account. I remain disappointed in President Obamas choice of VP.
