The Bush administration is all packed up and moved out. Tomorrow morning, the Obama team will switch from the transition team to the Presidential staff. I can understand why the Bushes are nostalgic, but like an uninvited guest, why can't they just leave quietly without making a scene?

You sort of have to wonder what may have happened had Repubs chosen a more capable flag-bearer. I think that there are many more "conservative" (small C) people out there than the Dems like to think. The problem was that GWB and his crew tried to hitch this to a specific "Conservative" political agenda (capital C), which even many innately conservative voters couldn't buy into. Maybe someone could have pulled this off, but it wasn't GWB.

I guess a paraphrase of Barry Goldwater is good advice for Obama-- "Extremism in pursuit of pretty much anything is a vice."

What other stupidity can be expected from a totally biased group like huffingtonpost. All of the negativity put into that story is stupid. Of course liberals look at things like that as just simple truth. A lie about how bad a conservative is should be believed.

Well libs think about something. When Bush was inaugurated there were all kinds of left wing hate groups out there protesting. This time there are none. What does that say about the left wing of this country. Which side gives the other side some respect? Surely not the left.

You sure got that right. When it's their person in office, all the hate should stop and we should come together.

Um...if you remember correctly, the reason that happened was because Bush and Cheney and Rove divided the country into Red and Blue states during that election. That is what caused the biggest scism our country has seen since the civil war. That is what people were protesting. Well, that and the fact that Bush stole the election.

Obama actually WON the election and did it by UNITING us instead of DIVIDING us. That is the big difference. That is why conservatives and liberals alike are getting behind Obama. He is not trying to make us fight against each other to keep from noticing what he's doing. He is actually leading us.

Bush gave everyone a reason to hate him. Obama hasn't done that yet. Should he destroy what little Bush didn't dismantle, then he will be held accountable.

We will see if the left will be inclusive or show their true stripes. If you agree with them it's fine, if not, you are a hate filled bigot. I doubt the left will change. It's the socialist highway or no way. The entitlement line forms to the left.

I don't hate a group of people for being who they are. I hate one man. Bush. And I have good reason to hate him. Hating one person for their actions does not a bigot make.

You should work on your reading comprehension. Your hating was never an issue. It's how the left sees anyone who disagrees with them.

                Obama won?
This election was won because the chicago 'mafia style' political machine bought and paid for this office and obama is their guy. This in combination with the slobbering love affair the news media has had with the Big O made sure he would win.The tingle down Chris Matthews leg, the nice honorable people at ACORN, Media Matters, Huffington Post how could he not win the Presidency?

Oh man, listen to the whine?

Bush lost the popular vote in the first election and won the second by 2 percentage points and you called that a mandate and accused those who pointed out election discrepancies of being conspiracy theorists and whiners. Now look at you.

Oh those nettles must be very bitter.

A dead rat on a stick could of won that election against McCain, nobody was buying into the hate and fear this time. I guess the bigots will have to try their smear in 2012, luckily they are too stupid to change tactics.

He wasn't uninvted, he was elected. As for just leaving quietly without making a scence, do you mean like the Clinton's did when they removed the W key from over 60 keyboards in the White House, thats classy.
