Been raising, breeding and showing Aussies and German Shepherds for over 30 years now and my first answer is "so what?!". My second and more important answer is you can train the dog to not do that by 1) cleaning it up immediately or 2)sprinkle a little cayenne pepper on it. Otherwise it is not unhealthy UNLESS the "poop" has tapeworms or other parasitic worms, etc. included. But most important - CLEAN IT UP NOW!
