The main gateway airports to East Africa and Zanzibar are: Dar es Salaam International Airport (DAR), a short flight to Zanzibar & Southern Tanzania Safari Circuit. Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) used for Arusha & Northern Tanzania Safari Circuit. Zanzibar International Airport (ZNZ) Other good alternatives are Nairobi, Mombasa and Entebbe .
