    We need to continue conserving. That is what brought the prices down in the first place. It is important that we don't go back to our old habits just because the price has come down.

      I agree tchef. The reason that gas and oil prices dropped so suddenly was because they exceeded the price that people are willing to pay. With 200 million cars in this country, if each one used one gallon less per week that becomes 800 million gallons of gas that the oil companies have to put somewhere. Our refineries have a lot of tanks but not that many. Tankers will be lined up offshore pretty quickly. WE DO HAVE THE POWER TO CONTROL GAS PRICES. We've done it, we can do it again. Keep conserving gas and we win.
