He was a genius who was socially aloof, and, he loved comics and Mickey Mouse cartoons. He was strange indeed. Speaking about super brilliant people, I always find it depressing to the "5th Power" when they off themselves. Not only do WE lose someone who could possibly benefit the world, but, in their self-destruction they send a cold, creepy, unnerving message that they KNEW something. But, I think of it this way. IF God can exist, and not off "Him"-self, I'm not going to WORRY about it. Thank God I'm STUPID enough to believe in a God who is eternal so I don't off MYself like so many super geniuses have done before.

Diric did not commit suicide; and I can only think of a single 'super-genius' who ever did; and that was under government pressure.*

A good physicists will not willingly leave the world he studies; the movie just keeps getting better.
Pauli said of Dirac; There is no god; and Dirac is his prophet .

That's pretty interesting... though not many physicists on the list. A scientific mind is likely just as susceptible to emotional health disorders as anyone else. One would think they would be more likely to recognize and seek help for such a problem than the general public...though certainly they are not immune. Interesting subject though.
