The newly identified item is called "the Miraculous Medal" and it is also known as the Medal of the Immaculate Conception, and it is worn by many Catholics around the world in honor of the Virgin Mary.

It's quite obvious that he's a spiritual person. I think it's an expression of Christ's message to respect that.

Although ... I understand that The Modern Christian Conservatives in America want to prescribe EXACTLY what makes a person blessed.
As I understand it ... The Modern Christian Conservative demands that Americans hold the following beliefs dear ...
- Keep as many kids from getting health care as possible
- "Let's make war on countries we don't like ... and threatened others!"
- Welfare for the Wealthy .... cuts in aid to the middle class
- Protection for Polluters!
- Cut funding for Veterans Hospitals
- Veto cost of living increases for Soldiers
- Watch as Walter Reed Hospital collapses
- Pervert the Constitution
- Accuse those who don't support Arbitrary War as being 'un-patriotic'.
- Force all Americans to ascribe to the philosophy that LIFE begins at conception.
- Fight, fight, fight against health care
- Maintain, as much as possible, the ramparts against inclusion in America
- Fight against Homosexuals - or any minority that asserts pride.
While I realize that none of those points reflect the essential spirit of Jesus' teachings ... I also realize that The Modern Christian Conservative in America is more an expression of a Hardline Right Wing Punitive Theory and a certain amount of bigotry.

Welll.... I was going to praise you for finally submitting a "moral collapse" article that didn't sound so completely bat-sh*t crazy..... but then you guys started making fun of Non-Christian religions. I'm an Episcopalian who believes in the teachings of The Buddah, don't mock other religions, especially when they are based on peace.
