Before anyone jumps on me for making fun of the elderly I want you to know that I tried this joke out at a senior citizens center where I volunteer and everyone enjoyed it. I asked if any of them felt that it was in bad taste and each and everyone of them said no. I think it is funny so I posted it here. I hope you all enjoy it.

Thank you Newperson. Before anyone gets the wrong impression of Newperson I would like to point out that he is combining two of my previous jokes into his comment on this one. I appreciate that Newperson. By the way I think you will find that you left your keys in the car with the car running and that someone else is now driving it. I was going to suggest that you call someplace but I can't remember the name of the place or their phone number.

You are either very capable Charlson or there are a lot of wrecked cars left along the road where you have driven. I have a feeling that you may have been the one that sideswiped me a while back and kept on going. You probably never even knew that you had hit me. I didn't get your license plate number though because I was too busy trying to find the lipstick that I dropped on the floor. Don't worry, I found it. It was under some jokes I had been reading in order to pass the time while driving.

Thank you Wolfie2007 and I agree with you. Of course as was mentioned to me by one person, elderly drivers are no more of a problem than younger drivers who try to do several things at once while driving. I had trouble arguing with that as I have been in three accidents in my life. Once I was rear ended by an elderly lady who didn't notice that the traffic ahead had stopped. Once I was rear ended by a young man arguing with someone on his cell phone and once by a man who admitted that he had bent over to pick up his lit cigarette which he had dropped on the floor.

LOL, good one Sarah, we will get there one day, but of course true stories, some funny and some not, we all have!! Joke is not in bad taste at all. (I find most seniors have the best sense of humour anyways, we should learn, lol).We know that is never your intention with any joke you submit. Have a good one!!
