No one is asking anyone to comply with anyone elses ideology. Just because I walk into a Hospital named Saint Joseph doesnt mean I am complying with the Catholic branch of Christianity. According to your logic a police officer should be allowed to descriminate against gays if they feel it goes angainst there religious convictions.

Refusing to offer services to a person on one's own private business property is not discrimination on the level of a police officer being selective. Officers of the law have sworn to uphold the law for all citizens. Doctors have not sworn to treat all the sick who approach them. They can refuse to accept patients for various reasons due to lack of funds, bad credit, the doctor's special field of medicine., etc. I have seen this sign on a doctors' doors: "We do not accept medicare patients." OR "No new patients are being accepted at this time."

Contractors refuse to accept construction jobs for various reasons. Mechanics refuse to work on certain automobiles. One works only on Mercedes. Why apply limitations to doctors?
