Has peace in the Middle East become nothing more than a pipe dream? As Bob Simon reports, a growing number of Israelis and Palestinians feel that a two-state solution is no longer possible.

This story reveals what has gone terribly wrong in this conflict. The state of Israel was created to protect Jews who were persecuted by the brutal Nazi rulers of Germany. Now the state of Israel is inflicting the SAME hideous and inhuman torture on the Palestinians in the West Bank!

Do you still want to show sympathy and empathy to the state of Israel?

Watch this video and think - REALLY THINK!

I never thought it would come to this: That I would see first hand the torture inflicted by Israel on the citizens of West Bank!

And a woman ILLEGAL SETTLER in the West Bank area proclaiming that she and the hundreds of thousands of illegal Jewish settlers will NEVER leave their settlements!

To think that we are paying more than $6 Billion every year to support this brutality and forcible and illegal land grab?

Where is our conscience, fellow Americans?

Thank you, 60 Minutes, for opening our eyes!

    Peace and Blessings!

Actually were pay $3 billion in direct aid - we give $3 billion in arms and another $6 billion in guaranteed loans.

The settlements are a guarantee there will be no Palestine in the West Bank.

      Thank you, dissent and TC!

Your well thought-out comments add weight to this story.

To say that I am troubled by this is an understatement!

Actually, I would not hold the Jewish citizens of Israel responsible for these atrocities. It is the State of Israel that is responsible for these brutal Nazi tactics.

A majority of Jewish citizens of Israel want to live in peace with their neighbors, and they have repeatedly said so in numerous polls.

It is the multi-party p[political system in Israel that gives enormous power to minority fringe religious extremists that wield the power to make or break a government. These are the culprits, empowered by Ariel Sharon, who are responsible for these illegal settlements. Dumbya Bush gave a wink and nod to Sharon to continue these settlements, and they have spread like an uncontrollable weed in the West Bank and elsewhere, including East Jerusalem.

It is really time for us Americans to separate the seed from the weed and demand changes.

      Peace and Blessings!
