I never thought it would come to this: That I would see first hand the torture inflicted by Israel on the citizens of West Bank!

And a woman ILLEGAL SETTLER in the West Bank area proclaiming that she and the hundreds of thousands of illegal Jewish settlers will NEVER leave their settlements!
To think that we are paying more than $6 Billion every year to support this brutality and forcible and illegal land grab?
Where is our conscience, fellow Americans?

these maps show clearly the erosion of the palestinian territories by illegal israeli settlements and they explain in an instant the reason for the ongoing conflict and why, for as long as the theft of palestinian land by israel continues, there will be no peace.

don't believe anyone who tells you it's "complicated" or that this is "an age-old conflict." that's pure crap and a pro-israeli soft sell to muddy waters that are really quite crystal clear. it's bs brought to you by people who prefer not to fully face up to and address the literally, on-the-ground realities. they are the people who feign sympathy, angst and compassion for both sides when the truth is, by their tepid, wishy-washy obfuscation, have quietly chosen one side and washed their hands of the other.
given our nation's unashamed and unquestioning support of israel's apartheid/genocide/concentration camp, cattle rustling style land theft package deal relentlessly afflicted on the palestinian people i am staggered to see this story aired on american television.
kudos to 60 minutes for having the courage to give something of a voice to a voiceless people who have been gagged, smeared and demonized so as to make their eradication as " subhuman terrorists" that much easier for our "consciences" to bear. as if they were an insect infestation. as if they were.... untermenschen.
you should carefully note that the exact same pattern of malicious treatment has been inflicted by those who presume superiority on all the oppressed people of all different races, religions and cultures throughout history, including..... the jews themselves.
history will not judge this kindly no matter how "stubborn" in her arrogance, or divinely guided by god, the mayoress of one illegal settlement in the story believes she should be..... to "win". or how cowardly the idf is to ceaselessly without warning or compensation commandeer palestinian homes, giving "surveilance" as its excuse to prevent its residents from going to work or leaving, turning them into prisoners in, not their own, as that now belongs to the idf for the time of its choosing, but their own kitchen.... how gracious and considerate. it is clearly this mind game is nothing short of cirminal harassment in order to drive them from their homes so that they can be absorbed by the relentless onward creep, like a malignant cancer, of illegal israeli settlements

To say that I am troubled by this is an understatement!
Actually, I would not hold the Jewish citizens of Israel responsible for these atrocities. It is the State of Israel that is responsible for these brutal Nazi tactics.
A majority of Jewish citizens of Israel want to live in peace with their neighbors, and they have repeatedly said so in numerous polls.
It is the multi-party p[political system in Israel that gives enormous power to minority fringe religious extremists that wield the power to make or break a government. These are the culprits, empowered by Ariel Sharon, who are responsible for these illegal settlements. Dumbya Bush gave a wink and nod to Sharon to continue these settlements, and they have spread like an uncontrollable weed in the West Bank and elsewhere, including East Jerusalem.
It is really time for us Americans to separate the seed from the weed and demand changes.
