Palin's $180,000 Wardrobe Stuffed in Trash Bags, Not Donated - StyleList Blog »
Posted By TimALoftis 10 months, 4 weeks ago in StyleSarah Palin's folksy image took a serious shot after her campaign and the Republican National Committee dropped a whopping $180,000 on swanky designer threads for the governor and her family. Chastised by party donors and blasted by the media, Palin and the RNC insisted the clothing was "on loan" and would be donated to charities after the election. So maybe it was a waste of money -- but at least the underprivileged could carry Louis Vuitton purses just like the rich and famous.
Or maybe not. Turns out the high-class, high-dollar gear is sitting around RNC headquarters, stuffed in plastic trash bags.

Right ... And IF it's true, so what, she never took possession of the wardrobe and never wore it. If anything, the RNC is the guilty party IF this is true and I seriously doubt it simply because it is a matter of record that most of that wardrobe was returned to the stores where purchased. This is just another in the nauseating attempts to discredit Palin. Soooo, here we go again with the same old same old rhetoric from the same old same old posters.

Note the comments on the Stylish site and how they turned rather abruptly from Palin to Obama and the costs of the inaugartion and related festivities. Anything that will get "center-stage", 'eh?

I don't think that this is about how much spent already. Candidates did their best and they all at least deserve some respect for that. Her party totally disposed her even stripping the "given" shirt off of her back! I want to see some dignity and respect. I don't like faceless people daring to keep doing wrong after wrong. After all the mess we ended up in, now they want to mess with Obama plans. Can't they just sit and watch for a while and do nothing please. For all our sake please just do nothing. And give this woman her clothes back, she worked hard.

You guys are worried about cloths purchased by the GOP for their candidate? My goodness, what a bunch of losers. Your party just rammed a "stimulus" package through that provides less than $ 0.12 on the dollar for actual job creation. So much for hope and change. Same old Democratic party. Big on welfare, pork and doubling the size of government small on real job creation.
