Like many avid wine drinkers, you may have had more than a fleeting fantasy of making your own wine, to have your own label. You can see yourself as a rock star winemaker with your face on the cover of Wine Spectator and a waiting list just to get on the waiting list to buy your high-priced releases. The problem, though, is that you don't know how to make wine. No worries. That hasn't stopped many people from putting their wine in a bottle. Besides, now there's help from the pros at Washington State University Enology and Viticultural Certificate Program. They have launched a self-directed study option to give you all you need to get started without the waiting and the high costs.
