Funny how Obama was sitting right next to his guy that got a 400K severance 'bonus' when he said this.

Have you people taken a good look at the so called stimulus package? It not designed to stimulate anything. Most of it is PORK for government spending and bigger government.

So I have to ask, WHAT THE HELL ARE THESE MORONS DOING?
The country is about to collapse, we need to stimulate the economy NOW in an attempt to stop a total economic melt down, so what is the government doing? They are using most of the $820 BILLION Dollars in places that it will not help anything. WTF are they thinking!?

    We are screwed!

Over the last week, I have seen almost no coverage here on propeller.com about President Obama and the stimulus package. Clearly there are a lot of people now afraid to talk about how bad it has become.

It is off government money that they got these bonuses.

You will see little obvious from the package for some time. At best such an infusion could settle things down.

Somehow 4thChance unfortunately missed out on his opportunity to run this deal. As if he truly has the solutions or understands the entirety of what is being done.

All we as average citizens can do is vote for the best candidate who assemble the best staff to deal with the problem. We did that in november. But the Republicans are already skulking off to save their political skin by not participating. The idea of more tax cuts is simply a broken record. A known carcinogen.

There is going to be terrible divisiveness soon as things get worse as everyone is predicting. Instead of banding together and doing the tough work to get ourselves out of this problem. It appears there will be the same old partisan squabbling. With the GOP position instructed by Rush Limbaugh and the Congress led by the childish Pelosi and the Mormon (that says enough)Reid. Good luck to this grand ol' country and Obama! They are going to need it!

Hey Republicrat1844, Have you ever read the tale of two cities? Do you not think that history can repeat it self? There is a country here full of cheated people, after so much bull, things can happen. People are getting desperate to feed their families and survive.

New York needs the tax revenue from those bonuses.

No more socialized losses and private profit for these companies. If they can make those outrageous private decisions on executive compensation, then they can find private loans or begin bankruptcy proceedings.
