Right you are Wiki. I think most people worry about what others think about them. But they are usually too vain to admit it.

I try to take the Alfred E. Newman approach.
But everyone wants to be accepted, even those who throw up a defense screen of insult and belligerence. -

You just clicked me into a lot of great memories of a certain time back in the late 80s, right after our little airline was liquidated and the fun we all had with a certain flight crew from Andrews Air Force base during a certain Presidential election.
We wore that song out on the jukebox at the Cockpit at HOU....
It was all turned out very good...
Just to re-iterate: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DzHJhmHSYXY

It's easy to fall into the trap of worry, for some it's easy to pull out as well. I think I really started to worry when I became a parent, you have to learn to let go when you know you do all you can and don't pass that stress and unhappiness on to your children, it's sad to see a child full of worry.

I think sometimes when someone doesn't seem to be worried, they seem like they don't care, it's hard to distinguish between the 2.-

My grandson is afraid to ride in the front seat.
He is afraid the world is going to end soon.
He is afraid of food and tap water.
He is afraid we are destroying the planet
I thank God that when I grew up in the fifties, the only thing I worried about was the big bully and what to say to a girl. -

Ivrofwolves,I liked your comment,as parents we watch our children grow and know one day they well leave the nest, and when that day gets nearer you worrie more, after they have left the nest the worring never stops. No matter how old they are or how many kids they have you still worrie about them. Some who thinks their parents dont worrie just because their all grown up now with familys of their own is wrong. Aparent never stops, they worrie untell the day they die. Why? Because we brought them into this world and have so much love for them we areselfs can not let go. so we well worrie tell we can't no more.

If you can prevent a disaster, I say, a little worry is good. IF you CAN'T prevent the disaster, then, hey, strap yourself down and ride the rollercoaster. If you are going to go down no matter what, I say, quit worrying and try to enjoy the ride.

Mark Twain (One of my all time personal favorite writers.)
I never thought worrying was a very good way to waste my time. I like to indulge in even more frivolous pursuits.
