Wiki good post. But there are wackos every where and many of them come up with all kinds of stuff to blame someone for something.

To blame Google Earth for terrorists being able to plot dastardly deeds is pretty silly.

  New technology always has its pos's and neg's. A lot of google earth stuff is old, and some secure areas are blacked out. Of course, competing interests will always try to weaken their competitors, and try to prevent their own secrets from being exposed while exposing those of others. I have a bias for the U.S. and West having better intell, but I'm sure there are many other biases out there.
