assistants. If he was a prospector, and recruits were gold, then Meyer would be
rolling around in buckets of money. Meyer and his staff have put together some
incredible recruiting classes ever since he stepped foot on campus, and that is the
main reason for his success. He has said it himself a few times, great players make
coaches look good. How is this for a recruiting class? 2-time National Champion and
Heisman winner Tim Tebow, 2-time National Champion and soon to be first round pick
Percy Harvin, and 2-time National Champion and one of the best linebackers in the
country in Brandon Spikes, and that was just Meyer’s 2006 recruiting class.
