Posted By Quail1957 10 months ago in FamilyTo some, Arizona is just a desert hot and barren. When I decided to move here I was told that I would not like it. They warned me of the poisonous snakes, spiders and scorpions; telling me that my thirst for knowledge concerning plant medicines would probably get me killed by one of these desert creatures. Never the less, I packed my backpack and duffle bag and moved to the desert almost 2300 miles away from my home in the mountains. Spirit told me I must go to the desert for there I would find new plants to add to my collection that could be used to make medicines for the sick.
