Winter comes to Georgian Bay, Now there's ice, Where once were waves. Down in the cove, The otters play, On mounds of ice, That lines the bay. Yes winters come to Georgian Bay. Old man winters here to stay. Over on the shore line, You can hear, The timber wolf howl; It calls to its family nearby. The stars up in the heavens, Are shining all around; Moon beams dance, Upon the frozen ground. Winters come to Georgian Bay, Old man winters here to stay. Somewhere in the forest, If you listen, You may hear the sound, Of the white-tail deer, As it leaps and bounds, Breaking branches, While on its way, To the safety of Georgian Bay. Winters come to Georgian Bay; Old man winters here to stay.
