It's becoming very clear that news sources don't have to say where their info comes from anymore, they no longer have to tell the truth about anything, they don't even need to sign their name to the BS they spew. They get away with grabbing crap out of thin air and report it as though it's all fact. Take the New York times as an example. They report BS all the time, they just make stuff up and report it as fact. That's OK though, because that's exactly why the New York Times is on the brink of bankruptcy. Some are saying that the New York Times will be history with in 1 year. That's a good start.

Big Oil no longer spends the amont of money it did years ago for research and developement. They are now financed by government handouts and subsidies and whatever other costs they occur are passed on to consumers. They sit on huge wind-fall profits and most of that money is not pumped back into the companies but into the pockets of the wealty oil barons and their executives.

Georgia, you are right - in Alaska the state does take more... and gives it direct to the people as welfare! Everything repugs do is a facade, particularly for Palin.

Remember when she told Couric that she supports life at conception and yet in her next breath she said she supports the Morning After Pill?

Is it Propeller itself you have a problem or the members?

Members submit the articles, not Propeller.
Or is this just another example of how overwhelmingly biased YOU are?
Submit away, Husky and please send me notification of your submissions so I can see just how unbiased your critical articles are.-

How can you people be so damn dumb...

I've attempted to submit COUNTLESS stories here at propeller that do NOT favor the Democrats. To this day, not a single one of my submissions have ever been posted.
Your right, the members here at Propeller do submit the stories, but there's someone behind the scenes who decides if the stories are posted or not. And that explains why we rarely see any stories here that bash the democrats. I've tried and tried, but I get nothing posted. I'll keep trying, but it will do me no good.

And you are BLIND! I just pointed out some good examples on Propellers front page and the bias that's there. You don't see it because you don't want to see it.
Reply
Sean Hannity and Mark Levin, are two of the top rated people that I think go over the top.
They sound much like your left wing nuts, but on the opposite end of the spectrum. Although Hannity is a bit much, he's no where near as venomous as the lefties are. Levin is a bit on venomous side though.
There have been studies made that clearly prove most all media is left leaning & bias. It's no secrete!
Follow this link of search results from Google.com
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en=Media+bias+stud...
I know you won't agree because you are so brained washed you simply refuse to believe it.
Grow up and face the facts and the REAL WORLD for a change would ya!?
This media bias has gotten so bad, we can soon expect news sources such as Fox News to start pushing back. As I said in an earlier post...we will soon be seeing MEDIA WARS. A fight between the lefty media and conservative media. They will soon start battling it out over who is reporting the facts and who's reporting all the BS.
I was being honest and said who I beleive on the right, that goes to far, so are you wiling to do the same? Will you say who you think on the left that goes to far? I'LL BET YOU WON'T, not in a million years would you ever be critical of the lefty media. I'll be waiting....-

" Why is all of that laid at Bush's feet? "
Reply
Because Bush invaded a country and started a war based on faulty intelligence and lies to link Iraq to 9/11. So without the war these deaths wouldn't have happened. Therefore the deaths and displacement of refugees is most certainly BushCheneyCo's fault.
"Since that point our army has been protecting the civilians there from outside terrorists."
Terrorists that did not exist in Iraq until Bush invaded. -

Isn't it odd how the left refuses to acknowledge that mainstream media is far left leaning and bias.
Reply
There's evidence of it everywhere, lots of it right here at Propeller. But yet, they are blind to it.
Just look at the front page of Propeller RIGHT NOW to see there are many bias stories running right at this moment...
Here's some examples from Propeller's front page. Seems the Bush bashing will never end.
Cincinnati Enquirer Reader Blames MSM for Bush Failures
Iraq's Shocking Human Toll: About 1 Million Killed, 4.5 Million Displaced, 1-2 Million Widows, 5 Million Orphans war instigated by the Bush administration. I'd say this story is greatly exaggerated.
More Republican bashing on this one
Sarah Palin’s Lies and Half Truths about Drilling in ANWR
More bashing from the left wing
It Has Become Fashionable To Mock Christians
Commission gets grim report on wartime spending. More Bashing Bush.
By Courting the Republicans, Obama Could Get the Worst of All Worlds. Blaming the Republicans again...
These stories are currently running at Propeller, and that's a typical take from the front page of Propeller, at any given time.
Now go look at Propeller for any stories that bash Obama or the democrats. There are none and it's rare that there ever are any.
I rest my case!!!!
I predict soon we are going to start to seeing what I call, MEDIA WARS!-

Members of Propeller lie further to the left on the political scale than you. And most media also lies further to the left than you.
That doesn't mean there's a left-wing bias--it means you're a right-wing wacko.
I'll ask you the same thing I always ask you, and the same thing you never answer. Maybe this time you'll reply:
If you don't think you're a right-wing radical, is there a single current politician or media pundit who you believe is too far to the right for your tastes? -

It isn't about liberalism, it's about what is right and wrong. I am a million miles to the right of you and there is a solid foundation for the criticism of the former president and the candidates the republicans offered in Nov.
Just as there is plenty to criticize about the current admin and the issues already coming forth.
Makes you wonder if anyone in Washington is paying their share of taxes. I would hazard to bet that this type of behavior is prevalent in the taxation world of those that can afford attorneys and accountants that can find and create such gray areas.

Obviously you don't know what real BS is. You supported an administration that lied over 900 times in 8 years. That's an average of a lie every 3.25 days. Something tell me that you believed ever lie they spewed. You certainly are no authority on BS. Unless it's taking it hook line and sinker.

Let's see: The oil companies already have a huge area near ANWR-Free to drill all they want-it's called the National Petroleum Reserve Alaska. It's called that because it is supposed to have petroleum (oil). You don't hear about big oil tripping over themselves to get at it, do you? Maybe some questions should be asked before we stampede a wildlife refuge with the B.S. story that we need it now. In fact there is allot of the USA leased and untouched. And while oil is cheap shouldn't we be filling our stategic reserve.

When will that horrible moron of a woman fade into obscurity and leave us alone. I would be perfectly content to never hear her name again as long as I live. McCain hasn't shown his face since the election. Why is she everywhere? Go Away! Go take care of your pregnant daughter and your other children. Go try and get the mother of your soon to be son-in-law to stop selling drugs to kids. Do something good for the people who live in your state instead of trying to get your name in the papers for god's sake.

Palin, Palin, Palin, this woman is still in the news? Even die hard Republicans know this woman doesn't have a clue. It's obvious that she wants to drill in Alaska, so she can bring more money into her state. It has nothing to do with relieving our foreign independence at all. What a sham! I guess I can't fault her for trying. After all, there are some conservatives that will buy anything she has to offer.

Here is a question...How much oil that is brought up in Alaska goes to us? Wasn't that the reason the democrats blocked the bill that would have allowed drilling.Didn't they say drill all you want,as long as that oil is for American consumption and not sold to other country's? But the right said no way.!!

Alright, all Republicans are capitalistic, fascist pigs and all Democrats are wimpie, simpering, la-la land types.
Reply
Now that that's out of the way, to me, the fact that 2/3rds of the world lives on less than $2/day, and that America (1/20th of the world's population)contributes 1/4 of the earth's pollution, I would say there's an imbalance there.
Maybe we could put off drilling in Alaska and go for the renewable resources. As an American, I think we need to show a little consideration for the rest of the planet. -

Yeah and maybe pigs will fly someday. Since we are importing 65-70% of our crude oil needs it is not likely that efficiency will be the answer to us getting off foriegn oil. At one time the US was the leading producer of crude oil. However we peaked at about 300 million barral a year arround 1970 and have been declining ever since. http://tonto.eia.doe.gov/dnav/pet/hist/mcrfpus1m.h... Now we produce about half that amount. It's not because of any one particular party it is just that all the cheap oil has been extracted here in the US. Cheap oil is oil that is eazy to extract. The Arabs still have lots of cheap oil.
