Well, a good example of how American industry has become fat and lazy and of how we have let "financiers" corrupt our country at the expense of those who actually produce something useful.

Today I read a story about a chinese company that in the last 3 years started manufacturing electric cars, already sells 300,000 / year and expects to hit a million per year in the next 18 months. And, they do it all with their own technology - the most interesting of which is ferric (iron) based battery chemistry that is much cheaper than lithium ion technology. -
