--But I think you cons re-elected Bush when he blasted us up to the 10 trillion dollar mark and beyond. I guess you forgot that, huh? Apparently it was cool to borrow billions when it was for no-bid defense CONtractors. Sorry, cons but you can't reward Bush for spending and then bitch like a bunch of howler monkeys when the Democrats spend. Get serious. You don't even have anything to show for your hero Bush's spending except a string of spectacular failures. At least Democrats are borrowing to directly help the American taxpayer. ;-P-

We have spend a great deal of money in Iraq. But looking at the larger picture, how much did we spend leading up to the invasion? How much did our attempts to ignore terror cost us? I mean outside of 9-11. USS Cole, African Embassies, and the like. Then you take into account nations like China, Russia and their smaller satellites like Libya, Syria and North Korea. By our actions in Iraq and Afghanistan, it certainly made clear you would be punished if you tried to mess with the USA. Again, I work in international business. The leaders of many nations that you claim hate the USA, liked President Bush. German and French leaders are great examples. Their communist or socialist movements are anti-American and will raise thousands for protests making it look like both nations hate us. The folks in power do no. The one fear many of my international contacts are concerned about is the new trade war being suggested by Obama's people. If you want a tariff war, that will plunge us into a global depression. Not to attack the President, but US will not win this one with the current leadership in Washington. He clearly is not in the driver's seat with the DNC.
