President Barack Obama has signed a bill extending health coverage to 4 million uninsured children. Hey, I'm a Christian conservative, and, I think it's kinda cool (and it's not because I'm poor myself). SINCE many of us were too greedy with our money to help the poor, Obama is going to get rid of the Middle Class now by taxing it to the hilt, making us poor by having us pay the health bills for children of illegal aliens, turning America into a very broke Third World nation full of serfs ruled over by big businessmen. You'd probably call it "Karma". In the process, we'll all be closer to God, for we will be like those Mexicans still living in Mexico who didn't want to break the law by coming over here illegally. I mean, hey, this world is not the important world anyway, I believe. :)

Wasn't it a 'compassionate conservative' that vetoed this bill back in 2007? The name escapes me. Hmmmm.

Republicans were virtually in lockstep against it because it's "socialism". Right-to-life-but-not-health-insurance advocates don't want money spent for family planning OR for supporting the health and well being of children.

Yes, even Parents with insurance don’t get the proper care for their children and many times have to pay out of pocket. The health care system in this country is deplorable. Insurance companies are only looking to make money, they don’t care about your child. Why are they allowed to pick what type of care our children will receive? It is not only the poor child who does not get proper care, but also children with health insurance.
