A study released on Monday by the University of Minnesota has come up with some hard facts for ethanol supports: Corn ethanol is just as bad for polluting the air as gasoline.

    Someone needs to let Congress know so they can stop the subsidies.
    Of course if you think that will happen anytime soon I have some ocean front property in AZ up for sale you might be interested in

      I don't think the real issue is the line between gasoline and ethanol, but gasoline additives like MBTE which are a real problem, especially concerning groundwater pollution.

      Ethanol is being produced to replace MBTE as a fuel additive, and in this case it's much safer and economical. There is no argument in this case. I think anyone would rather have ethanol polluting their groundwater than MBTE.
