This is the second story today in which gays and lesbians are faced with the real likelihood that a state legislature will take away more rights. Wyoming wants a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage, and Tennessee wants to keep gays and lesbians from adopting children. Despite the Bozos in Tennessee failing to prove how gay and lesbian couples do not make good parents, they want to proceed with this obnoxious idea. According to the American Psychological Association, the American Medical Association, and the National Association of Social Workers, gays and lesbians are just as efficacious at parenting as their straight counterparts. Good job, Tennessee...your bigotry provides me one less reason to spend my tourism dollars in your state.

Nashville already has a bad reputation. Young musicians bring their songs there, play them for execs, are told "we can't use it," and then the 6 months later the writer hears major riffs stolen and incorporated into the latest Shania Twain (or somebody) hit.

Besides the long-standing racism, homophobia, and fanatic Fundamentalism, Tennessee also appears to have have a culture of corruption. -
