Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. rejected the notion of a Russian sphere of influence, promising that America’s new government under President Obama would continue to press NATO to seek “deeper cooperation” with like-minded countries.

    It isn't 6 months and already Bidens prophecy is coming true. To look the other way they try and say that Russia is not exerting influence to have our base removed from that country.

    What a way to handle the issue. Stick your head in the sand. Way to go Obama/Biden.

    Russia bet the farm on $100 plus per barrel oil, and now they've lost the farm.

    Medvedev is impotent, and a target for assassination to put Czar Putin on his throne.

    All Russia does, or can do at this point is sell it's resources. Putin's gang has made it impossible to do straigth business in Russia, and foreign investment is severely lacking.

    Don't push Russia now, wait a few months and put the screws to them. They will buckle at that point. What's starting to boil there now can't be put out.

        Have any of you been paying attention to what's going on.
        Did you know that Russia, China, Cuba, Venezuela and others have been working together over the last couple years.
        They've even being practicing war games together, and No, the USA was not invited. Do you think they are doing all this just for $hits & Giggles. I don't!
