The Fraud that is the "War on Terror" »
Posted By populist 10 months, 1 week ago in Political NewsIf America were infected with terrorists, we would not need the government to tell us. We would know it from events. As there are no events, the US government substitutes warnings in order to keep alive the fear that causes the public to accept pointless wars, the infringement of civil liberty, national ID cards, and inconveniences and harassments when they fly.

the "war on terror" is actually the "war on the bogey man"
Reply
the "patriot act" is actually the "tyranny act"
the "stimulus packages" are "welfare for the rich."
the "free-trade capitalism" that we blame is actually a "banker-controlled fiat money bust-cycle of government and corporatism intervention."

What a superliberal rant of the first order. It uses lies to create its ideas. There have been several attempted attacks in the US. Our government caught each of these before they could do any damage. Then this person rants about our rights being infringed on. Well if you receive phone calls from al Qaeda people overseas then you will be spied on. What a catastrophe to the rest of us.

There were no al Qaeda in Iraq until the Americans brought them there by invading and overthrowing Saddam Hussein, who kept al Qaeda out of Iraq. The Taliban is not a terrorist organization, but a movement attempting to unify Afghanistan under Muslim law.
Hamas is a terrorist organization in the same sense that the Israeli government and the US government are terrorist organizations. In an effort to bring Hamas under Israeli hegemony, Israel employs terror bombing and assassinations against Palestinians. Hamas replies to the Israeli terror with homemade and ineffectual rockets.

All Muslim organizations have their charters and they are on line. Muslim terrorist organizations have some very similar ideas. Sharia law is the only acceptable way of government. With the Taliban after it captured control of Afghanistan imposed a harsh version of it. Women are not allowed to go anywhere without a male escort. Keep in mind that there have been wars there for many years prior. Women who had no men to rely on were just supposed to stay home and starve. Many disguised themselves as men and earned money and shopped for food in order to live. If caught they would be killed. And this foolish person says they are not terrorist.
Two other concepts that are common to terrorists are the idea that Israel has to be destroyed and Jews killed. The author seems to think that Israel first did terror bombings and assassination against Hamas. What a rewrite of history. Hamas assassinated their fellow Palestinians in order to secure their power. They the first day that Israel pulled out sent suicide bombers and rockets into Israel. Since then over 1,400 Israelis were killed and over 8,000 wounded many of which lost limbs.
It is obvious that this author is either ignorant or a fellow traveler with the terrorist organizations. -
