The best part of having afternoon tea, aside from the tea itself, is eating warm tea scones with clotted cream, strawberry preserves and lemon curd. I enjoy baking them from scratch and am always creating new ones to serve at tea parties I host. Recently, as I was rummaging through my baking cabinet to look for a new way of making scones, the idea popped into my mind to try peach scones. The result was delicious!
