Israel seizes land for settlement expansion »
Posted By dissent 10 months, 2 weeks ago in NewsEFRAT, West Bank; Plans to expand a West Bank settlement by up to 2,500 homes drew Palestinian condemnation Monday and presented an early test for President Barack Obama, whose Mideast envoy is well known for opposing such construction.
Israel opened the way for possible expansion of the Efrat settlement by taking control of a nearby West Bank hill of 423 acres. The rocky plot was recently designated state land and is part of a master plan that envisions the settlement growing from 9,000 to 30,000 residents, Efrat Mayor Oded Revivi said.

That says a lot about you. So you are in favor of the Hamas only acceptable solution of destroying Israel, killing the Jews and installing Sharia law.

What a girl to espouse the killing because of race.
Or did I misread what you said. You need to think through what you say.

It would be way more effective if instead condemnations Palestinians decided to negotiate a peace agreement. This agreement would give them a sovereign independent state with not a single Jew in sight.
> The rocky plot was recently designated state land...
So this land does not belong to any state, does it? If so how come Arabs CAN live on this land but Jews CAN NOT?-

another of your typically disingenous arguments.
the palestinians have no state, a situation that requires a green light from israel for it to happen, so while the palestinians remain stateless the land you and your pro-israeli pov would have us believe is there for the taking... israel's taking.
all the more reason why israel has absolutely no interest whatsoever in ever allowing the existence of a palestinian state and that a state of perpetual war and continued palestinian oppression is in israel's greater self-serving interests of seizing more and more land and murdering more and more palestinians. something that is best done in installments so as not to disturb and upset too many people around the world all at once and to acclimatize them to the inevitable genocide.
the hard work comes in the maintenance of the high level of bullsh*t required to disguise and obscure the obvious such as this.

The Israelis are despicable! They stole the Palestinians land in the 1940's. Pure and simple. Problem is, both sides has its hot heads. Like a bunch of bullies on a playground! DAMN! I do condemn Israel more though. They have the resources to pound the palestinians to sand...which they do repeatedly...while the Palestinians have a few toy rockets.

Pure propaganda. Do not know your history do you. Some facts to see if you can think.

1. The Ottoman empire lost in WW1 and Britain ended up with that land.
2. Britain was working on an agreement to create a Jewish state and a Muslim state with the League of Nations.
3. WW2 put an end to that temporarily.
4. After WW2 working with the UN Britain created Israel and Jordan. A Jewish country and a Muslim country.
5. As the British were pulling out the surrounding Muslims attacked Israel with the avowed aim to drive the Jews into the sea and kill them there.
6. Muslims lost that war.
7. Muslims started wars several times and lost every war for the next decade and a half.
So since the Israelis were defending themselves and the Muslims lost ground you are saying that they stole the land. Think about how the map of the world has changed through wars. But only Israel stole the land. You are incomprehensible. -

Whose land did they steal in the 1940's Jeboba? Which sovereign government controlled the land for 2000 years prior to the 1940's? When did "Palestinians" ever have a self autonomous, self ruling government? Who exactly stole 2/3 of Palestinian land east of the Jordan River in 1922 and put a Saudi Royal family member on the throne (It's called Jordan today)? Exactly whose land was stolen? When was there ever a country called Palestine? Now for the facts. A country called Palestine never existed. Jews lived on that land for over 3500 years but were forbidden to own land under much of the last 1400 years of Muslim conquest. Name one, just one period of time in the last 2000 years when "Palestine" was not conquered territory. Who stole whose land? After the Roman empire, some time around 632AD, the Muslims conquered Jerusalem and what what called Palestine. Then for 200 years after that, the Crusaders conquered the area. After that it was the Mamelukes (Muslims again) and for the last 400 years until WWI, it was the Ottoman Turks. So, Jeboba, exactly whose land was stolen from whom? Looks like most of the stealing was being done by the Muslims. Better to keep your mouth shut and look like a fool than to open it and erase all doubt.

Of course they did! After all, everyone knows that both Turkey (who owned these lands prior to 1920) and Britain (who administered them after 1920) are located on... PALESTINIAN LANDS!!!
> They have the resources to pound the palestinians to sand...which they do repeatedly...
Well, if the Palestinians were REPEATEDLY "pounded to sand" then WHO ARE THE GUYS pretending to be those (saupposedly, re-incarnated from sand) Palestinians?
Further, is these poor innocent Palestinians are pounded to sand and only have a few toy rockets to play with WHY DON'T THEY TRY TO NEGOTIATE A BETTER DEAL???

Why can´t Israel stop at last its damnworthy settlement politics?
Reply
Israel more and more starts not to care any more about human rights or the Geneva conventions. What about the promise to end up with the settlements on Palestinian soil? I can´t imagine that this conflict will ever be solved, if there was an enlargement of the areas declared as state land and an ongoing violation of the Palestinian rights!-

The only solution for the Palestinians is the DESTRUCTION of Israel, KILLING the Jews, and INSTALLING Sharia law there.
Reply
And you say that "Israel more and more starts not to care any more about human rights "
Every time they have given up land in order to get peace the result is more terrorist attacks because the terrorists believe they are in the process of getting what they want. Israel destroyed and Jews all killed. -

If tomorrow Israel WILL not only "stop at last its damnworthy settlement politics"but will remove ALL setrtlements, ALL military bases, ALL security checkposts and will fully withdraw to the 1949 cease fire lines... WILL THERE BE PEACE?
If your answer to the question above is NO you've answered your question as well.
By the way, "State lands" by definition are lands that are not privately owned.

Lets look at the history of the region since 1948 to see who clearly doesn't want it. In 1948, Israel was attacked by 4 arab nations and members of the Heusseini family. in 1956, Egypt closed the Suez canal to Israeli ships and nationalized the Suez canal, provoking the 1956 war. In 1967, Jordan, Egypt and Syria massed troops on Israel's borders, starting the 1967 war. In 1973, Egypt crossed the Suez canal and attacked Israeli fortifications in the Sinai desert. At the same time, Syria attacked Israel on the Golan heights, provoking the 1973 war. From 1963 until the present time, various Islamic organizations including the PLO, PLFP, Islamic Jihad and most recently Hamas and Hezbollah have attacked Israel on a daily basis. In 1997 the first Intifada which included suicide bombers attacking innocent Israeli citizens started and in 2000, the second Intifada started with suicide bombers and road side bombs aimed at innocent Israelis. In 1979 Israel and Egypt signed a peace accord that has lasted for 30 years. In the 1980's Israel and Jordan signed a peace accord which also has lasted until today. Looks like Israel has been the one to be signing peace accords with any neighbor that is willing to sign one with them. When has a single Palestinian leader signed a peace accord with Israel? Now, StevieGee, which one has the record of peace- Israel or the Palestinians?
