Posted By kuhlero 9 months, 2 weeks ago in SportsThe Cougars of Brigham Young University entertain the Lobos of New Mexico Tuesday night in MWC action as both teams continue to vie for the conference championship. Currently there is logjam at the top as no less than 5 teams continue to be in the race for the top spot in the MWC. BYU and UNM enter the game with identical 7-3 conference records. The Cougars are coming off a victory on the road in Ft. Worth where they totally dominated the TCU Frogs and came out with a victory 79-63. The Cougars were paced in that contest by Sr. G Lee Cummard who dropped 24 on the Frogs, and by a stingy defense that held TCU to just 38% shooting from the field. The win streak is now at 4 for the Cougars which puts them at 5-5 ATS in MWC action.
