As an agnostic I still search for evidence of God but there simply is none. Does that then make me an atheist? I am still open to proof but what has been submitted to this point would not even be allowed in a courtroom where the Bible is used to swear in testimony.

I will say "there is no God" without fear. I still believe life ceases with the end of brain function. Once that is gone there is zero proof of anything beyond. That is of course unless you are into believing the thoughts of man some 2000 years ago. As if he were somehow less ignorant than today. They were simply tring to explain their existence and the world they lived in. Forgive them if they got most everything wrong.

The Bible no more relates to God than Moby Dick. It is feeble man trying to explain that for which he had no explanation. Of course i don't think any other religion has any sort of correct explanation either. After spending two years dissecting Mormonism it convinced me that man can pretty much be led by others to believe anything. No God need be involved.
