    Nice recitation of GOP talking points! Other wise it is just pure drivel. Amazing how you label everyone on the Left with one big stamp.

    Anyone who believes that GW Bush is solely to blame for America's miseries is completely out to lunch. The man has proven he can barely p-ss in a pot. I am not about to give him that much credit.

    A failed leader for sure, a misguided delegater as well. But he simply did not write, create or devise any of the policies he knowingly or unknowingly backed. His foreign policy was run by neocons who have little respect for the man to this day. Never thought much of his intellectual abilities but admired him as a blank slate that could write all over. Somehow reasoned minds like Gates and Petraeus eventually broke the stranglehold but the damage had been done. A popular president once supported by 90% of the American public skulked out of the White House with some of lowest ratings in history. Ruined by his collaborators. A national embarassment. And can you imagine they are going to build a library honoring this man someday?

    We won't let anyone drill in the US? What a crock of sh-t! There are millions of acres of public lands already allocated for exploration here. But the cost of withdrawing much of that oil makes it unfeasonable unless oil is above $80 a barrel. No one is jumping on that investment with the volatility of petroleum prices. There is no cheaper product to extract in the world than Middle Eastern oil. We will continue to enrich the Arabs as long as there is a profit to be made by all parties...that is, minus the consumer. We do import massive amounts from Canada but they are literally destroying their environment to extract that product from shale. A model not worth following.
