    Well Josh,

I am glad that organizations like the Free Press are giving us the much needed alternative to mainstream media. It is refreshing to get news that isn't choreographed by big corporations and their agendas. The spread of the Internet, the expanded availability, and the opportunities for taboo topics to gain national recognition is a huge step in changing traditional, and somewhat stale, news into an exciting industry once again.

"Educate and inform the whole mass of the people... They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty."
    ~Thomas Jefferson~

"No government ought to be without censors; and where the press is free no one ever will."
    ~Thomas Jefferson~

New York Governor Proposes Tax On Internet Downloads.

    http://www.propeller.com/story/2009/02/18/ny-gover...

I find it fairly low-brow when a person creates an article and tries to pass it off as a story. Reminds me of Spadecaller. If you had produced "details", that might have been interesting.

But I harbor you no ill will since you're trying to be informative.

I'd like to hear how many new jobs this will bring.

Does anyone on here worry about where the money will come from to pay for this?

Printing money will bring on inflation - And there just aren't enough rich people to tax.

What are you thoughts on where we wil get the money?

No, keep the governments fingers and taxpayer's money out of the internet. Doing this is only asking for censorship and taxation of the internet. Don't you people ever learn?
