  All cartoonists have their 'off' days when they have to...um...rely on...um..resort to... um...Screw it.
  
  I understand the humor had to do with the recent violent chimpanzee episode and that the 'written by a monkey' had more to do with stupidity than it had to do with Obama's race. But for crying out loud! Does this man have no sense of history? I harbour an appreciation for the naivete it took to draw this. Yet I abhor the lack of editorial restraint that allowed it to be published.

    Having finally seen the cartoon, I agree that it has more to do with "the bill was so dumb that a mad monkey could have written it" than to "Obama = monkey who should be shot dead".
