All of you need to just watch the language, there's a thing called cyber-bullying and people are at times arrested for it.

What you won't say in the presense of your parents, you shouldn't say at all.
Now, this "Don't ask, don't tell" policy should include both heterosexual and homosexual public displays of affection. One shouldn't be bashed simply by their sexuality. It's not what defines them as people. Anyone who fights for any country should be equally honored with respect and gratitude, despite minute differences that small-minded imbeciles blow out of proportion and use to scrutinize others.
We are all humans; we are all members of an ever-changing society; most importantly, we are Americans. People do many things to reach the land we call home and take for granted. America is the land of opportunity and freedom.
Homosexuals are no different than heterosexuals. A person does not choose to be homosexual, heterosexual, male, or female; nor do they have the ability to choose to have blue eyes, red hair, or a hairy body.
Each of us is born with different aspects that make us unique.
Luckily, millions of us are born with the opportunity to be Americans, something we hold dear.
In conclusion, I say to you, how do you answer this question:
Why can't a homosexual die for your freedom, your rights, or your country?

That is such BS, it makes me ashamed of our military. Who the fu** cares?! She risked her life for us and because she is in a relationship she is punished. It's so incredibly screwed up, "Don't ask don't tell" should be unconstitutional. Btw I am heterosexual.

Oh really? I didn't know that Iraq was sending terrorists to blow us up. Shoot I guess we were wrong about who was responsible for 911. Maybe Bush was right, maybe it was all Iraq's fault... Do you honestly believe that? I support our troops but our reasons for being over there in the first place were lies, and nobody can argue against that. We went in for WMDs and found none, unless you count oil as one.

the war isnt even about terrorism anymore. so wut if she knew what she was doing? people break the law everyday repeatedly and get away with it. besides, this law is the most ridiclous ive heard of. theres no difference between a gay soldier and a straight one other than sexual preference which doesnt effect combat skills or knowledge, or the will to help the country....

You are a perfect example of the characterization of the military as $hithead$. You dim bulb, the military IS NOT protecting us from terrorism - terrorism is a tactic. Look it up genius. Conventional warfare is USELESS against terrorism.
I honor all of those who have worn the uniform to actually protect us from our real enemies both past and present. I do not honor nor do I condone those like you who are such mindless sheep and who do the bidding of war criminals like George W. Bush and Dick Cheney to make the world safe for capitalists to exploit one nation after another for either their natural resources or their cheap labor or both.
Even though I do not condone or encourage homosexual behavior I am 100% against this government and its insistence on telling us how to live our private lives. For your information - she is not a man - she is just a woman who was serving her nation in the military in a "war" zone. I think she has already proven her worth to wear the uniform. I am not nearly as sure about you. You peddle your papers and let this woman peddle hers.
Those with my backgound would say here Semper Fi! -

The woman who called her out was either a lesbian herself or like the millions of Americans now was a homophobe. They are the worse types of people breathing right now and I hope that woman gets what is coming to her for ratting out her own comrade in arms. Karma is very powerful

hahaha OKAY as if your username doesnt say enough, the fact that you say "she should take it like a man" says everything. Terrorism? Yeah, those ******* are protecting us from terrorism. And weapons of mass destruction too!! Listen douchebag, SHE was protecting us from terrorism. Men and Women--many of which who fall under the "don't ask don't tell policy" are protecting us from terrorism. They're the ones over there getting blown up and killed, all in the defense of Terrorism. Not to mention the fact that this woman was off duty and out of uniform when she was "caught" kissing her girlfriend. Maybe you should re-read the story---oh wait that won't do any good, youre a 4eversoldier!!!
