And the Ministry of Justice has launched a public-relations campaign to show it has changed since the days when prisoners were tortured there -- first under Saddam Hussein, and later by American troops.

Of course all the leftys on this forum will blindly take the Iraqis at their word that this is indeed a humane prison. Never mind the fact that this is almost certainly NOT the case given the Iraqis reputation for abuse and torture over the years. I have no doubt that prisons in that part of the world make American prisons seem like Club Meds...
